Quick Guides CM SYSTEM is an online, content-managed system of documents that is accessible to subscribers on payment of an annual licence fee – only one multi-user fee per site is payable. Via a unique username and password, licence holders can view, search and download, in Word, some 400 documents related to:
- education law;
- guidance;
- procedures;
- model policies; and
- checklists.
The CM SYSTEM is updated throughout the year as required. Changes in its downloadable Word documents are highlighted in red, showing the month the amendments were made. The documents are organised in five divisions:
- School Government;
- School Organisation;
- Management of Pupils;
- Management of Staff; and
- Management of Health and Safety
Policies and procedures can be adapted to each individual school/academy. Furthermore, we also have separate listings of documents, required by law, for schools in England and Wales. These are called GOV20 England and GOV20 Wales.
Quick Guides Management Documents are written by our team of leading educational, legal consultants: Chris Lowe (Chief Editor), Russell Clarke, Stephen Szemerenyi, Richard Bird, David Brierley, Max Hill, Michael Howells, Rona Tutt and Gail Treml. They draw upon many years of Headship and/or Legal Experience. Other experienced contributors who have their own specialist knowledge about the legal and management issues facing schools today support the Editorial Board. Thus, through its Quick Guides we provide a comprehensive school management guidance and information system.
The contents of the Quick Guides CM SYSTEM can be searched via a search engine. As part of the annual subscription, licence holders also receive 10 electronic Quick Update emails which highlight the latest changes in legislation affecting education, recent legal cases and other important information from the Editors.
