At the bottom of the page, you will see the same document is available in a downloadable Word format.  Simply click on the icon and save or download the Word text.  Recent amendments are shown in red.

If you are searching for a particular document or wish to search by key words, then type in your requirements in the Search box.  Documents related to your topic will then be shown.  Please see the separate sections for searching the Teacher’s Little Pocket Book and The Support Staff Little Pocket Book.

Quick Update booklet

The Quick Update booklets are issued three times a year – Autumn, Spring and Summer.  The booklets highlight the main changes in policy or procedure that have occurred since the previous issue and include important items that the Editorial Board would like to draw to your attention. A paper copy is sent to every licence holder three times a year as part of the annual licence fee.  However, if you have lost your paper copy, an electronic version is available here.  It includes a diagram to show you the structure of our Quick Guides School Management Documents system and lists all available documents.  Documents that are new or amended since the last issue of the Quick Update are highlighted in red.

GOV20 – School documents required by law

QGP have produced two GOV20 documents which exist to help you check that you have these documents in your school required by law. One document is GOV20 (England) School Documents required by Law. The other document is GOV20 (Wales) School Documents required by Law.  GOV20 is a checklist of Policy and Procedures, which maintained schools must observe, as they are documents required by law in primary and secondary education. Hyperlinks exist in GOV20 to allow direct access to each document identified. It is advisable that this list is also observed in all independent schools throughout England and Wales. The lists may not be exhaustive and are updated from time to time.

Library

Documents stored in this section include previous Noticeboard items, or other documents particularly requested to be housed in the Library.  Documents are filed alphabetically and include (in brackets after the name) when they were on the Noticeboard.

News Letter

QGP produces an electronic News Letter each term that contains lighter items of interest in Education.  Please click on the button for the current edition.

Noticeboard

Items of particular interest are highlighted here.  Please check regularly to see what new notices have been added.  After a period of time, Noticeboard items are moved into the Library section.  Where relevant, some items will also appear translated into Welsh.
